Sabina’s Light Walk
We are planning to stand in solidarity again with Sabina’s family and our community, to honour her life tomorrow 24th of September 2022, by walking together as a community with Sabina’s family from Cator Park to Peglar square, where we will hold a 1-minute silence and hear from Guest speakers, and closing prayers for Sabina. We hope you will be able to be with us.
As Sabina loved light Jebina and her sisters would love everyone to walk with glow sticks and electric candles.
Dress code: White
Walk for Sabina: Saturday 24th September 2022
8.00 pm: Gather by the bridge in Cator Park South
8.10 pm: Attendees walk toward Pegler Square
8.30 pm Arrive in Pegler Square
8.30 pm Family speech and poem followed by prayers from local Imam
9.00 pm Close and disperse
