Her Centre, a women’s advice service in Greenwich, seeks two post holders to work in our Safe Lives Accredited IDSVA team on one-year contracts. We are seeking:
- An Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) with Safe Lives qualification in domestic abuse, or similar, to provide advocacy for women experiencing domestic violence and abuse. This is a one-year post at 28 hours a week. Salary of £23,678 at NJC scale point 23, including London weighting (£29,597 FTE).
- A Senior Independent Domestic Violence Advocate with a remit for complex needs. This is a one-year post at 35 hours and will manage two IDVA posts and a small caseload of women with complex needs. Salary of £32,307 at NJC scale point 26, including London weighting.
We are a women-led service. Both posts are based in Woolwich SE18 but will require travel across the Greenwich borough, and the IDVA post will include working one day a week at the local police station.
